Abstract The effects of a naturally occurring Patagonian strain the white-rot fungus Pleurotus ostreatus on Araucaria araucana wood lignans was evaluated. Lignans colonized and non-colonized shavings activity fungal ligninolytic enzymes were studied. identified using gas chromatography with mass spectrometry detector.
